We want to make your commencement ceremony the most beautiful and memorable ceremony experience possible with the finest regalia available to Iowa State University Doctoral candidates, faculty, and staff.

Place your rental order by April 12th for the May 9th, 2024 Graduation Ceremony.

Expedite Shipping is not available. These are firm deadlines.

Last day to order rental (no exceptions): April 12, 2024
Last day to purchase: March 4, 2024 (by 4 PM)
Graduation: May 9th, 2024 (7 PM onwards @ Hilton Coliseum)
Regalia must be in the mail to return to Oak Hall by May 23, 2024, to avoid being charged a replacement fee.

  • Rental Regalia is not eligible for a refund once the order ships.
  • Group orders will not be accepted. Only one complete package may be purchased per order. ISU Doctoral candidates and past graduate faculty and staff only.

You will be provided with a return shipping label for your rented gown to return after the commencement ceremony. If you do not return by the deadline, you will be charged the full purchase price of the regalia.
 

Sizing

Sizing is based on height and weight standards. If you would like to include your head and chest measurements, please add these in the Regalia Special Notes section in the cart before proceeding to the checkout, making sure to include the unit of measurement you are using.

 

If you are unsure if you are measuring correctly, please come into the bookstore and we can ensure correct measurements.
 

Note: Hood is not included with rental. The Office of the Registrar will provide each candidate with a Doctoral hood to be used during the ceremony. If you would like to purchase a hood to keep, you can do so in the accessories step in the ordering process or you can order here.
